Busy day today. Working on the bulletins. Yestday I figured out how to upload and change files on the web. Finally!
We've now figured out exactly what the problems are regarding the heating - it was electrical. The thermostats were the wrong kind of thermostats.
Spent a fair amount of time calling parishioners I hadn't seen for a while. It is always a bit awkward at first - there is a tinge that they expect you to make them feel guilty. I suppose there is an element of that. Guilt is not such a bad thing, I think. It sometimes makes you do the things you need to do.
Tomorrow is the bridge club. I was told that it better be clean, or Ev's reputation is on the line. The problem is that we don't have a sexton. So it feels like its up to me. She just called, in fact, to make sure everything was set up.
Also taught the kids how to properly take communion today, after which I went to Manhattanville to talk about religion and Buffy the Vampire slayer. Tonight dinner with a friend who is leaving for Canada.
